Nutting, Dumont H. (22 July 1881 - 25 Oct. 1953)

Dumont H. Nutting Dies at Age of 72

Dumont H. Nutting, 72, of 22 ½ Jefferson Ave., died at his home at 9 p.m. Sunday. He had been in failing health for the past six months.

Mr. Nutting was born in Loyal, Wis., on July 22, 1881, and was married to Miss Florence Greely there in 1901. He was employed in Milwaukee and lived most of his life in that city before coming to Oshkosh 10 years ago.

In addition to the widow, survivors are two daughters, Mrs. LeRoy Coffin, Elm Grove, Wis., and Mrs. J. M. Sherr of this city; three sons, Ronald, Milwaukee; Franklin, Fifield, Wis.; and Kenneth Nutting, Chicago, a brother, Clifford Nutting, Park Falls, Wis., eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Fiss and Bills Funeral home with the Rev. George I. Jordan of Algoma Methodist Church officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home from Tuesday afternoon until the hour of services.

Nutting, Dumont H., 22 ½ Jefferson Ave. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Algoma Methodist Church with the Rev. George I. Jordan officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park. Friends may call at Fiss & Bills Funeral Home today and until 11 a.m. Wednesday when the body will be taken to the church to lie in state until the 2 p.m. services.

Nutting, Dumont H., 22 ½ Jefferson Ave. Funeral services were held today at 2 p.m. at Algoma Methodist Church with the Rev. George I. Jordan officiating. Burial was in Lakeview Memorial Park. Mrs. Donald Willis was organist.

Pallbearers included Franklin, Ronald, Kenneth, Robert and Ivan Nutting and Donald Sherr.
