Hendrickson, Grace (8 AUG 1900 - 9 FEB 1944)

Mrs. Henry Hendrickson, 43, passed away at St. Joseph’s hospital at Chippewa Falls at 5:30 p.m., Feb. 9, 1944, death caused by uremic poisoning.

Grace Hienholtz was born in the town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.) on Aug. 8, 1900. She was married to Henry Hendrickson on June 8, 1918.

Surviving here are her husband and mother, Mrs. Mary Kienholz; 4 sons, Harvey of Boyd, Arthur at Great Lakes Naval Training Station, twins, son Marvin in the Southwest Pacific and Merle who received a medical discharge from the navy, now in Chicago; one daughter, Alberta, at home; one brother, Ralph Kienholz, three granddaughters, Sylvia, Cynthia and Betty Hendrickson, two nieces and three nephews.

Funeral services were held at Our Saviors Lutheran Church at Stanley, Feb. 12th at two o’clock, Rev. J.N. Midtlien officiating.

I am a long lost Hendrickson family member. My father was the twin Merle Hendrickson. There is a long rest of the story but I will just say that I was able to meet my Uncle Harvey Hendrickson and lots of cousins in Stanley WI. Marty Byrd
