Zepaltas, Rose (1 Mar 1918 - 26 Mar 2008)

Rose M. Zepaltas GREENWOOD -- Rose Marie Zepaltas, 90, of Eau Claire, formerly of Greenwood, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at Syverson Lutheran Home in Eau Claire.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 31, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Cuddie Funeral Home of Greenwood is assisting the family with arrangements.

Rose was born March 1, 1918, in Phillips to John A. and Mary (Budzalak) Jasurda. She married John J. Zepaltas on Jan. 4, 1941, in Chicago. John died Oct. 30, 1964. Rose worked as a clerk for Greenwood Pharmacy and for Sam's Clothing Store.

She is survived by her children, Nancy Fellenz, Myrtle Beach, S.C., Mary Ann (Paul) Becker, Madison, Jim (Nancy) Zepaltas and Donna (Chip) Hatleli, both of Eau Claire, Diane Zepaltas, Lumberton, N.C., Debbie (Dave) Deering, Kaukauna, Kathy (Paul) Bielen, Santa Rosa, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; her brother, Frank (Donna) Jasurda, Phillips; and sister, Sr. Benita Jasura, OSB, Lisle, Ill.
