White net and lace fashioned the ballerina length gown donned by Miss Wanda Noreen Scheel on Monday morning, January 17th, when she became the bride of Robert Lee Hebert in a ceremony performed in the First Presbyterian Church at Abbotsford, Wis. The Rev. Thomas Bierney of Edgar was officiant at the 10 o’clock rites for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Scheel of Abbotsford and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo A. Hebert, Unity. Completing the bride’s costume were a finger-tip veil and a colonial bouquet containing white mums and red roses interspersed with stephanotis.

Mrs. LeRoy Hainzlsperger came from Superior to serve as matron of honor at her sister’s wedding and Miss Sandra Zink, Abbotsford, was bridesmaid. The former was attired in an orchid strapless ballerina length formal and carried a colonial bouquet of white gladioli and mums tied with orchid net. Miss Zink was similarly dressed in blue and carried a bouquet like the matron of honor’s tied with blue net.

Attendants for the groom included LeRoy Hainzlsperger as best man and Marc Knuf, Unity, as groomsman. A cousin of the bride, David Van Dreel, Wisconsin Rapids, was usher.

Following the ceremony, a dinner was served in the dining room of the church after which the newlyweds greeted guests at a reception at the Scheel home.

The groom is a graduate of the Unity high school while Mrs. Hebert attended Abbotsford high school. They will reside in Abbotsford, Wis.

The Register joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
