Jaeger, June #2 (13 June 1924 - 14 May 1952)

WAUSAU - (Special) - Funeral services for Mrs. Gilbert Jaeger, 27, former Unity resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ritler & Deutsch Funeral Home. Burial will be made in a cemetery here.

Mrs. Jaeger was found by her husband about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at their home, where she had apparently drunk a poisonous insecticide shortly after the noon hour.

After investigating, Coroner John W. Hildensperger said that she had apparently taken her own life. She had been under the doctor’s care for a nervous condition and had left her job as a stenographer at the D. J. Murray Manufacturing Co. several weeks ago for that reason.

A life-long resident of the area, Mrs. Jaeger was born in Unity, June 13, 1924, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Lynn. She was married here June 3, 1949, to Gilbert Jaeger. She had resided in the city the past seven years.

Besides the widower, survivors are the parents, and a brother, Rudolph Lynn, Unity.
