DeCremer, Norman O. (11 Mar. 1920 - 7 Apr. 1983)

NEILLSVILLE - Services for Norman O. DeCremer, 63, of 317 Oak St. who died at Memorial Hospital Thursday, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Gesche Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary L. Clark, of the United Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in Neillsville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Orville Jack, George Campbell, Clifford Winter, Louis Zschernitz, Ronald Meyer and Matt Meyer.

Visitation at the funeral home will be from 5-9 p.m. today, and until service Tuesday.

He was born March 11, 1920, in Neillsville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Alma Daminski) DeCremer and received his education there.

He served with the U.S. Army from 1940-45, and was in the Asiatic-Pacific area. He also served with the U.S. Air Force from 1953-68, and served in Vietnam.

After his discharge from the Army he returned to Neillsville and was employed by H. H. Van Gorden and Sons, and also the Clark County Highway Department.

After retiring from the U.S. Air Force he worked in Tacoma, Wash., until two years ago when he returned to Neillsville. He was a member of Haugen-Richmond American Legion Post No. 73.

He married Lila L. Kuester Nov. 29, 1946 in St. Paul, Minn. She survives.

Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs.................missing content.
