Lieske, Edna (1 July 1908 - 4 Aug. 1996)

LOYAL - Edna Lieske, 88, Colby and formerly of Spencer, died at 6:50 a.m. Aug. 4, 1996, at the Colonial House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Colby, Wis.

 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rinka Funeral Home in Loyal.

 

The Rev. Joseph Kraly will officiate. Burial will be in Loyal City Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.


Edna was born July 1, 1908 on her family's farm in Clyman, Wisconsin to Theodore and Caroline Fredericka Marie Dorothy (Boeldt) Lieske. At the age of 4, she moved with her family to Loyal township and was educated and was educated at Trinity Lutheran Church parochial school in Loyal.

 

She farmed in the town of Loyal until moving to Spencer in 1979. She resided in Spencer until entering the Colonial House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Colby in 1996. She enjoyed cross-stitch embroidery and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her niece, Carol (Lester) Spaulding of Black Creek; and three nephews, Herman (Millie) Stange...........missing content.
