Dums, Delores H. (Boxrucker) #2 (11 Aug 1920 - 30 Mar 2008)

Delores H. Dums, 87, Colby died Sunday, March 30, 2008 at the Golden Living Center-Continental Manor Abbotsford, Wis.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 3 from 4 to 8 p.m. and an hour before services at the church on Friday.

Funeral Services will be Friday, April 4 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby, Wis. Fr. John Gaulbert will preside. Burial will be private, at a later date. Pallbearers will be grandchildren.

Delores was born August 11, 1920, in Stetsonville to Jacob and Elizabeth (Schumacker) Boxrucker.

She married Adolph Dums on September 24, 1941 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking and doing laundry and ironing.

Delores is survived by her husband, Adolph Dums, Colby, her eight children, Carol (Jim) Morrow, Loyal, Robert (Kathy) Dums, Denton, NC, Ronald Dums, South Milwaukee, Gary (Robin) Dums, Elkhorn, Joyce (Bob) Vogel, Marshfield, Daniel Dums, Mukwonago, Richard (Lindy) Dums, Mt. Pleasant, NC, and Nicole (Kent) Christensen, Spencer, IA; 23 grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Leona Blazel, Stetsonville, Raymond Boxrucker, Medford, Windy (Marg) Boxrucker, Stetsonville, and Eddie (Jean) Boxrucker, Medford.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Al Boxrucker and two great-grandchildren.
