Local News from 25 Mar. 1885

A little break in the Eggebrecht & Hamann's mill, at Wein, yesterday morning, brought the boys into town. M. P. Peterson reduced the fracture and the boys returned in the evening.

Rosenfeld, Neumann & Co., of Unity, have taken the agency for the Browing King & Co., of New York City, and are now prepared to take orders for suits. They have over 200 samples to select from.

The firm name of W. J. Clifford's business at Spencer and Stevens Point will hereafter be W. J. Clifford & Son. Mr. Clifford having taken his son John into partnership. They will also start a yard at Stevens Point.

Frank Salter has purchased the B. F. Walker building and is having the interior rearranged and repainted. Frank informs us that he will move his tock of drugs, medicines and fancy good into the building as soon as all the necessary arrangements are completed.

The saloon and boarding house firm of Ruhmer & Schroeder, at Dorchester, was dissolved last week, Henry Schroeder having sold his interest to M. Ruhmer, who will continue the business, collect outstanding accounts and pay all bills. Henry left on Friday of last week, for Wishicott, Manitowoc county, which place he will make his future home.
