Miss Ann Lobacz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Lobacz of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Joseph Jaskot Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jaskot, Sr., of Thorp, on Saturday morning, June 30th, 1945 at nine o’clock at St. Hedwig’s Church, Father Piekarski performed the ceremony.

The bride, who was given away by her father, was beautifully attired in a white marquisette over a satin gown with sweetheart neckline and full skirt with train, wearing a long, laced edge veil which was set in place with a beaded crown. She carried a bouquet of white roses and carnations. She present a beautiful bouquet of white gladioli on the altar of the Blessed Virgin Mary, after the ceremony.

Miss Regina Lobacz, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She was dressed in a peach marquisette gown wearing a matching blusher.

The best man was Leo Jaskot, brother of the groom, and the bridesmaid was Helen Lobacz, sister of the bride.. Another attending couple was Stanley Lobacz, brother of the bride, and Jean Jaskot, sister of the groom. The bridesmaids both wore aqua marquisette gowns with matching blushers. They all carried bouquets of tea roses.

The groom wore a tuxedo with a white rose boutonniere and his attendants tuxedos with carnation boutonnieres.

A wedding dinner and supper were served to a host of relatives and friends at the P.N.A. Hall in Thorp. Ted Wirth and his orchestra furnished the music.

The newlyweds left on Monday morning for Chicago, where they are both employed.

Out of town guests attending the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Antosik, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Nowak and son Ted, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jaskot, Jean and Leo Jaskot, Helen Lobacz, Mrs. Marie Janis and sons, Martha Jaskot and girl friends, Evelyn Dush, Miss Sophie Rogus, Matilda Stoltz and boyfriend, Rose and Joe Sawczuk, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Powszukiewicz, all of Chicago; Pfc. Matt Nowak of Portsmouth, Va; Mr. and Mrs. Mike Lobacz and son of Milwaukee, Mrs. John Tuszkowski and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tuszkowski, of Benent, Wis.
