Dahnert, Anna (11 June 1898 - 16 Dec. 1985)

Neillsville -- Services for Mrs. Herman E. (Anna A.) Dahnert, 87, Memorial Home, Neillsville, who died Monday at Memorial Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at United Church of Christ, Neillsville.

The Rev. Mark Voll will officiate. The vocalist will be Lori Anding, accompanied by Deon Spangler. Burial will be in the Neillsville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dale, Wayne and Lee Reinart, Jim Feuerhelm, Ardell Syth and Kent Lonning.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday and until 11 a.m. Thursday at Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, and then at the church for one hour before services.

The former Anna A. Seelow was born June 11, 1898, in the Town of Pine Valley, the daughter of Fred and Matilda (Dux) Seelow. She attended the Beyer School in the Town of Pine Valley.

She worked for a short time before her marriage to Herman E. Dahnert May 5, 1917, in Neillsville. They farmed for many years in the Town of Levis. After retiring in 1945, they moved to a home on Hewett Street. Her husband died Jan 3, 1977.

She had been a resident of Memorial Home for four months.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John (Velda) Reinart, Neillsville and Mrs. Donald (Elaine) Feuerhelm, Hokah, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Edith Trogner, Neillsville; a step-sister, Mrs. Estrher Kerrigan, Chicago; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Ione, and a brother, William.
