Barnhill, Bernice (5 MAR 1946)

A double ring ceremony united Technician Fourth Grade, Harry V. Osowski, son of Vincent Osowski of Thorp, Clark Co., Wis., and Miss Bernice Barnhill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred H. Barnhill, of bay, Arkansas in the holy bonds of matrimony at 10:00 March 5, 1946.

Ceremonial services took place at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, San Pedro, California, with the Rev. Edward J. Sullivan officiating.

The bride wore a lovely white satin gown with fingertip veil crowned with orange blossoms, a corsage of red rosebuds and carried a Sterling Silver Rosary, a gift of the groom. The groom wore his army uniform.

The best man and maid of honor were Joe Voss and Christine Falconi, local residents of San Pedro. Sgt. Osowski has completed 33 months of service and will be discharge on or about March 15, 1946. Thereafter the happy couple plan a honeymoon at San Juan Capistrano and other scenic parts of Southern California.
