Soeller, Viola (4 APR 1946)

On April 4, 1946, at 2:00 p.m., at fort Sill, Lamton, Okla., Miss Viola Soeller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Soeller of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Sgt. Joseph Kumbera, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Kumbera, 618 Fulton St., Wausau, Wis., Rev. Patrick McNamer performed the double ring ceremony in the Army Chapel.

The bride was attired in a aqua suit with black accessories and wore a corsage of red and white roses. Her only attendant, Miss Mary Holzenhauer, wore a black and white suit with white accessories.

The groom and his attendant, T. Sgt. Joseph Kodunce, wore their army uniforms.

A supper was served at White’s Café for the bridal party and a few immediate friends.

The bride was a graduate of the Thorp High School with the class of 1941 and for the past four years was employed at the Mint Café in Wausau. The groom, a graduate of the Wausau High School, has been with the army for three years, serving two years in the European Theater. He has re-enlisted for a period of three years and is at present stationed at Fort Sill, Okla., where they shall make their home.
