On Saturday, June 8th, 1946 at 10:00 o’clock at the St. Hedwig’s Church in Thorp, Wis., Miss Wanda Malaszuk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Malaszuk of Thorp, Clark Co., Wis., was married to Mr. Steven Krych, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Krych of Thorp, by Father Rucki.

Frank Malaszuk, brother of the bride, acted as best man and Katherine Krych, sister of the groom, acted as first bridesmaid. The other attendants were Dorothy Yurkowski, niece of the groom, acted as bridesmaid of honor, Delores Krych and Chester Zajaczkowski, Margie Kobylarczyk and Joseph Krych, Annie Lato and Frank Krych, and Adeline Schmidt acting as a Charm Girl., wore an aqua formal of net and sharkskin with matching head tiara; all the other girls wore yellow formals of net and sharkskin with matching yellow head tiara and all the girls carried bouquets of yellow tea roses and lilies of the valley with aqua bows. The fellows all wore tuxedos with carnation boutonnieres and the groom wore one of flowers of the bride’s bouquet, a rose boutonniere.

The bride, who was given away in marriage by her father, marched to the altar in white sharkskin gown with a long train and fingertip veil held in place by a crown of beaded orange blossoms and the veil insets of lace to match the neckline of the gown. The powder puff bouquet the bride carried had white roses and carnations and baby breath, and she wore a single strand of pearls, a gift of the groom.

Following the ceremony a breakfast dinner was served to relatives and out of town guests and a large reception was held in the evening at the P.N.A. Hall in Thorp. After a short visit in Green Bay the newlyweds will make their home in Chicago, where the groom is employed.

Out of town guests who attend the wedding were: Frank Malaszuk, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Badzinski and Mr. and Mrs. Emery Badzinski and family, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Martin and family, Miss Lorraine Badzinski, Joe Leisecki, Mrs. Roman Paprocki, of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Chester Kubacki and son, Mrs. Joe Sumiec, Mrs. Vincent Lipinski, Mrs. Joseph Smarawski, Mrs. Frank Ward, Mrs. Marie Mazgaiczyk, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dudkiewicz and daughter, of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dudkiewicz, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Dudkiewicz, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Dudkiewicz, Phil Dudkiewicz, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bujarkski and son, Louis Dudkiewicz, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kaminski and family, Mrs. Stanley Piontek, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sokolski and son, Green Bay, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Nick Yurkowski and daughter Joan and Dorothy, Misses Pauline, Margie and Joseph Kobylarczyk, Joseph and Frank Panek, Mr. and Mrs. John Uherek and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Grzenia and family, of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Niemitz and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Krause of Neillsville; Miss Florence Garbusch of Loyal; Rudolph Lendowski of Detroit, Mich.; Mr. Bosek of Chicago and Mr. and Mrs. Steven Gulcinski of Minneapolis.
