Mr. and Mrs. James C. Hansen, 2031 S. Webster Ave., Green Bay, announce the marriage of their daughter Muriel Ruth to David Rothwell McEachern, Thorp, Clark Co., Wis., on June 8, 1946. The marriage took place at the country home of Mr. and Mrs. Davis Straubel, Nicolet Road, green Bay, a great aunt and uncle of the bride.
Miss Hansen was attended by Miss Dorothy Terp as maid of honor. Dr. Wm. E. McEachern attended his brother as best man. Besides the immediate members of the bride’s family, the following were present; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. A. McEachern, Thorp; Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Elliott and Mr. and Mrs. E.F. Burns, of Eau Claire, and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. McEachern. A reception for approximately two hundred guests followed the ceremony. The young couple will make their home in Oshkosh.
Mrs. McEachern attended Antioch College, Yellow Springs, Ohio, and the University of Wisconsin, from which she graduated last month. She is a member of Delta Gamma and Alpha Kappa Delta, honorary sociology sorority.
Mr. McEachern also matriculated at the University of Wisconsin and is a member of Sigma Nu. In the armed forces for four years, he saw service in the Asiatic and Pacific theaters and was awarded the distinguished flying cross.
He is now district sales manager for the Rex-Air Corp. in Oshkosh. The couple will live at 106 Central Ave., Oshkosh.
