Baird, Mr./Mrs. George (50th Anniv. - 28 Feb. 1945)

The golden wedding of Mr. and Mrs. George Baird will be celebrated at their home, 247 South Court street, on Wednesday, February 28. Open house will be held from 2 to 5 in the afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Baird were married 50 years ago in the Methodist parsonage at Clarence, Ia. They have resided in the Neillsville community since 1920. They have five children, all of whom are expected to be at home for the anniversary. Theses are: Grace, Mrs. M. J. Budde, Neillsville; Esther, Mrs. William Crocker, Milwaukee; Mildred, Mrs. Ed. Meyer, Marshfield; Richard, Marshfield; Delbert, Neillsville. There are six grandchildren, all of whom will be present.

Mrs. Baird was Mabel Dewell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Dewell. Her father is dead, but her mother is still living in Iowa at the age of 93.
