Lewerenz, Marion (Marriage - 25 Feb. 1945)

Miss Marion Lewerenz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lewerenz, Neillsville, and Ted Nelson, Chicago, were united in marriage on Sunday, February 25, at First St. Paul’s Lutheran church, Chicago, Rev. Grother, pastor the church, officiating. The couple were attended by Miss Louise Blum, a Neillsville girl, now employed in Chicago, and Arnold Lewerenz, brother of the bride.

The bride attended Luther college at New Ulm, Minn., and afterwards Neillsville high school, where she was graduated in 1939. She worked for two years in Chicago and Milwaukee, and since that time has been at home with her parents. The groom was employed for a time at the local Weidenhoff plant, and is now employed in Chicago, where they will reside.

Mr. and Mrs. Lewerenz were in Chicago for their daughter’s marriage, Mr. Lewerenz returning Wednesday of last week. Mrs. Lewerenz remained for a longer time, coming home this Monday night. Arnold Lewerenz, a student of piano and voice at Westminster college, Princeton, N.J., returned to his studies following the ceremony.
