Leona Marks Hansen of the high school faculty has been widowed by the fighting in Normandy, according to word which had reached Neillsville. Her husband, the Rev. Raymond Hansen, a chaplain with the rank of captain, is reported to have been killed in action. Capt. Hansen had been in the service more than two years. He had previously been a pastor at Augusta.
