Reisner, Julius (13 July 1879 - 16 Feb. 1945)

Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon, February 22, at the Gilbertson funeral home, Granton, for Julius Reisner, 65, who died February 16 at Billings, Mont. The Rev. F. H. Giles of Marshfield officiated. Burial took place in the Lynn cemetery.

Mr. Reisner was born July 13, 1879, at Adell, Wis. When he was 21 years of age, he went West to work, and a few years later purchased an 80-acre ranch near Meyers, Mont., where he has lived the past 40 years. Soon after settling at Meyers, he was married, his wife dying a year after their marriage. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

He is survived by three brothers: William of Chili; Charles of Granton, and Herman of Algona, Ia. There are also nine nieces and nephews, most of whom reside in and near Granton. In 1943 Mr. Reisner spent several months visiting his relatives here.

Pallbearers were two brothers, Charles and William Reisner, and four nephews, Allen, Oscar and Harold Reisner, and Harry Baumgartner.
