Mr. and Mrs. Anton Kern of Waukesha announce the marriage of their daughter, Rosetta Mae, to Arnold M. Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Johnson of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), at the Trinity Lutheran Church at Waukesha, Saturday, Sept. 22, 1945, at 2:00 p.m.
The bride was attired in a tope dressmakers suit with fuscia accessories. Her corsage was pompons and red roses.
The attendant of the bride was Alma, her sister, attired in a soldier blue suit with black accessories, her corsage was similar to that of the bride.
The groom’s man was Erland Johnson, brother of the groom.
The bride and groom’s mothers were dressed in black and wore Shirley Temple gladiola corsages.
The Cottage Tea Room was the setting of a 6:00 o’clock dinner served to immediate families. The reception was held at Kuney Club at Calhoun for 200 guests.
Out of town guests who attended the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Johnson, Mrs. William Hingiss and daughter Janice, of Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Rotcik and son Lyle Jr. of Loyal, Mrs. Dale Horn of Greenwood, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schneider of Waukegan, Ill.
After a week’s wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin, the couple will make their home in Waukesha.
The bride was previously employed at the Wis. Telephone Co. in Waukesha, and the groom is at the Waukesha Motor Co.
