Koile, Ruth (3 Nov 1945)

Miss Ruth Koile, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Koile of Marengo, Wis., and Robert Stewart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Stewart of Withee, were united in marriage at the Congregational Church, Owen, Saturday, Nov. 3, with Rev. A.R. Thome of Mellen officiating.

The bride chose for her wedding a dusty green suit with black accessories, and wore a corsage of mums and gladiolas. Her maid of honor was Miss Minnette Stewart, sister of the groom, and the bridesmaid was Laura Staedtler. The maid of honor wore a fuschia suit with black accessories. The ring bearers was Ellen Koile, a sister of the bride.

Joyce Stewart, a cousin of the groom, played the wedding march and recessional, and Mary Loris Stewart, another cousin, sang "I Love You Truly." The bride was given in marriage by her father.

The groom was attended by Melvin Krause and Lawrence Dyrness.

The church services was candle lit and was prettily decorated with bouquets of yellow chrysanthemums. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Stewart, and there were about seventy in attendance.

Thompson, and daughters Jo Ann and Mrs. Art Jepsen, and Marie Jepsen of Rib Lake; Lloyd Thompson and Mrs. Byrl Koile of Ashland; Mr. and Mrs. Ross Koile and family of Sanborn; Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Reas, Miss Marie Reas, Mrs. George Yankovitch of Marengo, Ronald Hogland of Ashland; Aurice Thompson, Tacoma, Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hagen, and Mrs. T. Nessheim of Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. O.B. Hagen and Mr. and Mrs. Olin Hagen and son and daughter, Wittenberg; Mr. and Mrs. George Osterhaus, Plainfield; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Proctnow, Wautoma; Mrs. Thomas Stewart and Mrs. Art Samuelson of Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Thompson and daughter Marjory, Abbotsford; Irvin Feit, Mosinee; Mrs. Jack Dyrness and daughter Elaine, and Melvin Krause, High Bridge; Miss Laura Staedtler, Ashland; Robert Sarazin, Plymouth, and Miss Barbara Bowker, Ashland.
