A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Louis Winter Saturday, July 28.

Mr. and Mrs. Milton Johnson and family, Chili; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Sternitzky and son, Gerald, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ure and daughters, Lila, Merial and Retta, and sons, Lloyd and Ronald, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sternitzky and daughter, June, sons Vernon and Wayne, helped Mr. and Mrs. William Sternitzky celebrate their fifty-seventh wedding anniversary at their home Wednesday, July 25. They were presented with a gift from the group.

Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Quicker and family, Neillsville, were Sunday guests at the Mrs. Maggie Johnson home.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ehbert and family, Arpin, visited at the Raymond Lindow home Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Clark Brooks were Sunday dinner guests at the Ernest Montag home, Chili.

Mrs. Anna Martin and Mr. and Mrs. William Dankemeyer and daughter, Ione, visited Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Opelt in the town of Levis Sunday.

Mrs. Ed. Sternitzky, Herbert Sternitzky and children, and Mrs. Harlow Kalsow, Neillsville, visited Betty, daughter of Herbert Sternitzky, at the Sacred Heart hospital, Eau Claire, Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Helm and family, Granton, and Miss Mildred Ross, Stevens Point, visited at the Ferdinand Helm home Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. William Foote entertained the following on Sunday: Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gotter, Mrs. Norman Luchterhand, Mrs. Rupert Christman, Loyal; Mrs. Lazetta Christman, Hartford; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schinsog, Grant, and Arno Gotter.
