Steven J. Benedict, 33, of Neillsville passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at his home in Neillsville.

Steve was born October 31, 1974, in Kansas City, MO, to Tim Benedict and Sue Benedict (Jansen). He was a unique individual who made friends wherever he would go. He enjoyed life and loved to spend most of his time with friends and family. He always had a smile on his face, and he could always make you laugh. He was a caring and loving man who would do anything to help a person out. He loved to talk, and this is what he will be remembered for the most.

He is survived by a son, Jonathon, and daughter, Clover; father, Tim (Pearl) Benedict; mother, Sue (Michael) Jansen; brother Tim (Gina) Benedict; sisters, Lisa Gates and Kari Susa; and nieces and nephews, Tyler, Dominic, Andrew, Zachary, Kaci and Amber. He is also survived by a grandmother, Hilda Benedict of Black River Falls; and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Steve is forever in our hearts and he will be greatly missed.
