Hendrickson, Arthur #2 (13 OCT 1901 - 19 JAN 1942)
Funeral services for Arthur Hendrickson, 40, who died Monday morning at the State Hospital at Mendota after a lingering illness, were held at the Stabnow funeral home in Greenwood Thursday afternoon, Jan. 8, at 2 o’clock.
Mr. Hendrickson, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hendrickson, was born in the town of Unity on Oct. 13, 1901, where he grew to manhood, and on April 13, 1921, he was married to Miss Ila Salzwedel of the town of Beaver. He spent most of his life as a farmer in the town of Beaver.
The Rev. A. E. Norson of Greenwood officiated at the services, and interment was made in the Greenwood cemetery. "Face to Face," "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Saved by Grace" were sung during the service.
Surviving are his parents of Hibbing, Minn.; his widow; four sons, Orville, Rodney, Archie and Henry, and two daughters, Opal and Arlene, all at home.
Pallbearers were Melvin and Wallace Hendrickson, Lawrence Mess, Lawrence Tesmer, Lawrence Larson and Floyd Binning.
Relatives from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Donald Strang, Lake Forrest, Ill.; Mrs. George Binning and Walter Hendrickson, Waterford; Mrs. Norman Hammes and Mrs. Robert Kamper, Hibbing, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Mess, Marshfield, Mrs. Frank Copet, Spencer.
The bereaved family has the sympathy of the entire community.
