La Brant, Lois (November 19, 1914 - May 13, 2008)

Lois La Brant, 93, Colby, died Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Memorial Medical Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Neillsville.

As requested by Lois, there will be no public funeral services held and only a private committal service will be held in Aurora, IL at a later time.

Lois was born November 19, 1914, to Albert and Ina (McCormick) La Brant in Spencer, Iowa. The family later moved to Rockford, IL where she attended school and graduated from high school.

She was employed by Motorola Co. in Chicago, where she worked in motor assembly for over 35 years. In 1980, she moved to the Colby area.

Lois did volunteer work for the Clark County Humane Society, along with donating items for the operator of the shelter.

She is survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Memorials may be given to the Clark County Humane Society in Neillsville in her name.

The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home of Abbotsford assisted with all arrangements.
