Russ Meyer is up and about again after being confined to his home with a heart ailment for several days.

Mrs. Elsie Hauser returned to her home in Colby after spending several weeks at the Robert Hemmy home in Juneau.

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Sossaman and children of Milwaukee spent the week-end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Sossaman and Mrs. Arma Schultz.

Mrs. William Ebert spent several days in Wausau with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Koffarnus. The latter was ill with the flu.

Mr. and Mrs. Everett Mossing and children of West Bend came to Colby to spend the week-end with his mother, Mrs. H. P. Mossing, but as he came down with the mumps, they are obliged to remain longer.

Mr. and Mrs. A. X. Umhoefer are spending the week in Janesville with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Umhoefer. Mr. Umhoefer will also attend the high court meetings of the C.O.F. in Chicago.

Mrs. C. J. Kraus and grand son, Joseph Gabriel, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Rifleman of Edgar, spent the week-end with the former’s daughters and families in Chicago, Ill. A son, Stanley Joseph, was born Sunday, Jan. 15th, to Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Morales of Chicago.
