John Reeves is at the Veterans Hospital at Minneapolis.

Mrs. Emil Loos had the misfortune to break her arm when she fell at her home.

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hause spent Sunday at Menomonie with the latter’s brother.

H. W. Reeves suffered a stroke Tuesday afternoon and was taken to the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital.

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Richard Price of Colby, Route 2, at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital April 4.

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Beyerl of the town of Colby at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital April 5.

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gottschalk of Colby, Route 2, at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital April 4.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Butler attended the funeral of the former’s aunt, Mrs. Ida Shelley, age 88, at Fond du Lac last Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Lester Wegner and children of Brockfield spent several days with Mrs. Wegner’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Dix.

Raymond Forbish, a student of the University of Wisconsin at Madison, spent the Easter holiday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Forbish.

Mr. and Mrs. Peter Gries of Sheboygan, formerly of Colby, spent the week-end with relatives in Colby and Spencer.

Louis F. Frome is spending several weeks with his son-in-law and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Scholl of Pewaukee and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Elstrom of Bristol.

Louis Schulz and Junior Tesmer left for Milwaukee Sunday where they are attending an air conditioning school. They expect to return Friday or Saturday.

Lenhart Wiersig, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wiersig, has been transferred from Anoka, Minn., to Austin, Minn., as manager of a Sears & Roebuck store.

Mrs. Wesley Frome and son, Wayne, spent several days visiting relatives at Pewaukee and with Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Neuhaus and other relatives at Sheboygan.

Supper guests at the Wesley Frome home Saturday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Reiholt Werner and children, Garen and Gary, of Sheboygan and Mrs. Otto Koeppen of Colby, Wis.

Mrs. John Coates spent last week in Madison where she attended the 20th annual convention of the Wisconsin Electric Cooperative. She is home service consultant for the Clark Electric Cooperative.
