Shafer, Adam (1860? - 9 APR 1947)

A telegram to Miss Edna and ten Munson last week told of the death on April 9, 1947 of their uncle, Adam Shafer, 86, at his home in Fayette, Iowa. He died suddenly of a stroke. Mr. Shafer and his wife, who is a sister of the late Mary Munson, have often visited with the Munson family and have a number of friends in this community. The funeral took place Friday. Surviving are Mrs. Shafer, now 83, two sons and a daughter.
