Miss Cecelia E. Schumacher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schumacher, Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Gordon Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Axel Johnson, Medford, at a service read by the Rev. Joseph Seboth at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester, July 3, 1947.

The matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Mrs. Leo Zirngibl, and the bridesmaids were Mrs. Edwin Peche, sister of the groom, and Miss Ann Zirngibl and Miss Charlene Lepp. The groom’s attendants were Leo Zirngibl, Robert Schumacher, Melvin Schumacher, the latter two being brothers of the bride, and Edwin Peche.

The couple will reside in Dorchester after their wedding trip, and he will resume his studies at the university of Wisconsin this fall.
