Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Garbush, 66, of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, at the Methodist Church in Loyal. The Rev. L. H. Holmes, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be at Loyal. Mrs. Garbush died Monday at 12:45 p.m., at her farm home near Loyal, after a prolonged illness. The body will lie in state at the Co-operative Funeral Home in Marshfield until Friday morning, when it will be removed to the church at Loyal, where it will lie in state until the funeral services.
Clara Retzlaff was born on Oct. 31, 1880, in the town of Lynn. She was the daughter of Henry and Rosiana Retzlaff, both of whom are deceased. Her early life was spent in the town of Lynn. Later she was employed for some time in Beloit. On June 16, 1915, she was married at Neillsville to Albert Garbush. They lived for a few years on a farm near Greenwood, and in 1921 bought the present farm home a mile southeast of Loyal, where she has since resided. Mrs. Garbush was a member of the Methodist Church at Loyal.
Mrs. Garbush is survived by her husband and two children, Harlow, who is serving in the army air corps and is located at Chandler, Ariz., and Florence, a teacher, who resides at home. Also surviving is a sister, Emma, Mrs. Carl Zais of Kenosha; and a half sister, Tillie Retzlaff of Granton.
Harlow will be here for the funeral.
