Loy, Andrew W. #2 (31 DEC 1830 - 4 AUG 1904)
A. W. Loy, born in Belmont Co., Ohio, Dec. 31, 1830, died at Tioga (Clark Co., Wis.) Aug. 4th, 1904. Mr. Loy was married to Mrs. Morgan Campbell of the town of Blue Brick, Adams Co., Ind., on July 29, 1852. To him by this marriage were born two sons and a daughter, of whom Sylvester Loy of this city survives. He was united in marriage to his second wife, Emily Shepherd, on Oct. 25, 1868. To him by this union were born two daughters, Mrs. Retta Slover and Mrs. Florence Palms, of whom Mrs. Slover survives. The funeral services was conducted last Friday, Aug. 5th, at Tioga, and the body interred at the Globe Cemetery. The large attendance at the funeral expressed the community’s regard for deceased and their sympathy for the bereaved, into whose home death has come three times in less than a year. G. W. Campbell of Neillsville officiated.
