Sturgeon, Belle (19 December 1882 - 29 May 1948)

Funeral services for Mrs. Belle Sturgeon, 65, were held on Tuesday afternoon, June 1, (1948), from the funeral home in Owen. Burial was made in the cemetery near Owen. She died at the hospital in Marshfield on Saturday. She had been ill since January.

Mrs. Sturgeon, nee Clifton, was born in New Richmond on December 19, 1882. She was married at Withee to Golden I. Sturgeon, who preceded her in death in 1940.

Two daughters, Mrs. Wilbur (Beatrice) Johnson of Marshfield and Mrs. Russell (Bernadine) Anderson of Loyal, survive her, as well as a son Aaron of Stevens Point.
