Knaub, Nancy (Marriage - 8 Dec. 1956)

Miss Nancy Knaub, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rubin Knaub of Milwaukee, and William Wiedenhoeft, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wiedenhoeft of Cable, formerly of Colby, exchanged marriage vows in the Mt. Olive Lutheran church in Milwaukee Saturday at 1:30 P.M. Pastor H. Berner officiated at the ceremony, Mrs. Patricia Knaub, aunt of the bride, was matron of honor and the groom was attended by Clarence Drifka as best man.

The bride was attired in a white brocaded street length dress with white accessories and her corsage consisted of a single white orchid. The matron of honor wore a blue street length dress with white accessories and her corsage consisted of pink and white roses.

A wedding dinner was served at Volpanas at 5:00 P.M. to immediate relatives, and, in the evening, a reception was held at Poelt’s Hall, North Park Washington Rd., for about 250 relatives and friends.

The newlyweds are making their home in Milwaukee where the groom is employed at Evinrude Motors.

Out of town guests at the wedding included Mrs. Meyer Muus and son, Robert, of McVille, N. Dak., Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Walters and daughter, Marlene, of Neillsville, Mrs. Herman Wiedenhoeft of Colby, Mrs. Henry Senkbeil of Colby and Mr. and Mrs. Schnaweis of Tomahawk.
