A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Edward Strathman at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital November 26.

Harry Selves returned to Owen after spending a week with his mother, Mrs. J. T. Selves.

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Harold Diedrich at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital November 21.

Mr. and Mrs. LaMonte Dulmes of Adell visited Saturday and Sunday at the Hugo Brehm home.

Claude Sossaman and Richard Hasenorhl of Milwaukee spent Saturday with their respective parents.

Mrs. J. T. Selves will leave Saturday for Greenwood where she will spend the winter at the Old Ladies’ Home.

Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Morgan and children of Fond du Lac spent Sunday with Mrs. Morgan’s mother, Mrs. Lillie Allmann, and other relatives.

Mrs. Pauline Zillmann, who spent the Thanksgiving week-end in Marinette with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Lein, and their two daughters, returned home Saturday evening.

Mrs. Richard Wiegman is spending several weeks with her sons and daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Wiegman at Cicero, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wiegman at Waukegan, Ill.

Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hasenohrl have received word that their son, Kenneth, with the U.S. Navy stationed in Monterey, Calif., has been promoted to petty officer second class. Fleet wide examinations, taken last August, determined his promotion. Kenneth is an aviation air controlman (tower operator) at Monterey.

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Sossaman and children of Milwaukee were Thanksgiving guests at the home of Floyd’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Sossaman. They also spent the week-end visiting Mrs. Floyd Sossaman’s mother, Mrs. Anna Schultz, and her sister, Mrs. Norma Winkler, at Unity.

Pvt. Larry Allmann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Allmann of Colby, recently completed six-week’s basic training at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., and now is attending the Fifth Army’s food *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
