Peterson, Henry (1875? - 13 Aug. 1956)

Henry Peterson of Curtiss, age 71, died of a heart attack Monday night while installing a light bulb in a village of Curtiss lighting standard. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home in Owen.

At first the trouble was believed to have been electric shock; but medical examination revealed otherwise. Clark County District Attorney John J. Nikolay said Mrs. Peterson told him her husband "had complained during the day of chest pains." Responding to the call, in addition to the district attorney, were Sheriff Ray Kutsche and Coroner John R. Bergemann.

Peterson lived in Curtiss ever since he came from Sweden at the age of 19. He was village service man for the Northern States Power Company and also janitor at the Curtiss Public Schools.

Surviving are his wife, four sons, two daughters and seven grand children.
