On Saturday evening at 8 o’clock, Miss Verna Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. T. Taylor of Eau Claire, and Donald Smiley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Smiley of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), exchanged marriage vows at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church at Owen. The Rev. J. H. Rostad read the nuptial service.
For her marriage the bride wore a suit of midnight blue with accessories of white and a corsage of rosebuds.
Mrs. J. H. Rostad, in a frock of blue with a corsage of rosebuds, attended the bride. Lester Smiley, a brother, attended the groom.
Mr. and Mrs. Smiley are making their home in Curtiss. Mr. Smiley is employed by the Laabs Cheese Company at Milan.
