Robert Schofield has a road on the ice and hauled his lumber to Neillsville down the river.

A post office was established at Hemlock with David Warner as postmaster.

B.L. Bailey went to Marshfield where he had secured a position as scaler for the Upham Mfg. Co.

A daughter arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wellen.

The mercury fell to 40 below zero on Tuesday of this week.

A young blood at Longwood took hsi best girl for a cutter ride to Greenwood, and entered the outskirts of the city before he had finished the usual number of miles of hugging, and only came to a recanalization of the fact when he discovered half a dozen kids stealing a ride and enjoying the fun.
