Mrs. Laura Fowler has rented Etta Miller’s rooms, where she will start dress making.

Miss LaGrave, our intermediate teacher, Sundayed at her home in Augusta.

Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Travis were Fairchild callers Saturday.

Dr. King, of Fairchild, was seen on our streets Sunday.

Mrs. Lillian Bedie, of Merrillan, visited with her mother, Mrs. R. Presher, over Sunday.

Dr. Moore, of Merrillan, called at our burg Thursday.

Jylphia Lightfoot and Eda Quick, of Fairchild, were guest here Sunday.

Miss Anna Hart, has a new organ, and hence commences drumming.

Miss Mabel Snyder, of the North school, Sundayed at home.

Cole Johnson, who was working in N. C. Foster’s camp, got his limb smashed Friday.

Mr. F. Blanchard, who has been working here for the past three years, and family returned to their home at New Lisbon last week.

The Salvation Army leave Wednesday for the Colton school, where they will hold meetings the rest of the week.

Rev. Cooke will commence holding a series of meetings here Monday night.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hart, Jan. 24, a girl.

Dr. J. C. Coomes, of La Crosse, who has been delayed here on account of illness, leaves today for Neillsville.

Madge McKinn returned home Monday from a weeks visit at Fairchild.
