Kunshier, Anna Marie Dorethea (Marriage - 11 July 1970)

Anna Marie Dorethea Kunshier of Merrillan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Nothnagel of Darmstadt, Germany, was united in marriage to James Foster of Merrillan, son of Mrs. Theresa Foster o Marshfield, July 11 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Black River Falls. The Rev. Mathew performed the single ring ceremony in the presence of 400 guests.

The bride wore a two-piece brocade coat and dress ensemble in aqua and silver. Rhinestones and mock pearls were o n the standup collar. She wore net sleeves, rimmed with Swiss braid rosettes and lily-of-the-valley, and carried red and white roses, and stephanotis, as she was escorted to the altar by Oscar DeMert.

Mrs. Carol Foster of Colby was matron-of-honor and Mrs. Charlotte Drescher of Neillsville, bridesmaid. They wore light blue crepe gowns with headpieces matching that of the bride, and carried, blue and white carnations.

Marce Foster, brother of the groom, was bestman; and Robert Drescher was the groomsman. Ushering was Kenneth Gierl.

A reception was held at the Sportsman Club in Hatfield and the Polka Kings played for the dance at the Inwood.

The bride was a nurse’s aide at Memorial Nursing Home in Neillsville. The groom is a counselor at the boys’ school in Black River Falls. The couple is making their home at Hatfield.
