Lesar, Verna (1 April 1905 - 12 January 1949)

Mrs. Frank Lesar, 43, of Willard died at her home January 12 (1949) at 9:45 p.m.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 17, at 9 o’clock at the Georgas Funeral Home, and at 10 o’clock from the Holy Family Church at Willard. Burial was made in the parish cemetery, Fr. Odilo Hajnsek officiated.

Mrs. Frank Lesar, the former Verna Kosmosky, was born April 1, 1905, at Owatonna, Minn. When she was four years old she moved with her parents to Clark County, where she spent the remainder of her life. She received her education in Clark County schools, was graduated from Neillsville High School and Central State Teachers College at Stevens Point.

She taught in various schools in Clark County for 24 years, among them was Willard State Graded School, where she remained for 10 years.

She was married to Frank Lesar July 24, 1940, at Greenwood.

She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church at Willard.

She is survived by her husband; her mother, Mrs. Agnes Kosmosky; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur (May) Carl, and Mrs. Anna Cole, all of Neillsville; and three brothers, John Kosmosky of Eau Clarie, Stanley and Stephen Kosmosky, both of Neillsville.

Her father preceded her in death in 1943.
