WM. STEPHENS FALLS FROM BARN ROOF

Friday while shingling the barn at Lindau’s, Wm. Stephens had the misfortune to fall from the roof to the ground. The scaffolding slipped causing him to fall. He was badly bruised and shaken up and is presently confined to his bed. We hope for a speedy recovery.

CURTISS HAPPENINGS

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Johnson and family spent Sunday at the C. H. Ravy home in Unity.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Brecklin of Chippewa Falls spent the week end at the home of Mr. Brcklins sister, Mrs. Geo Hoff and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Plockelman and daughters Esther and Meta spent Saturday at Marshfield.

Miss Eleanor Erler of Wauwatosa left for her home Monday after spending a few weeks at the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Moritz Koenrner.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Hoff and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Brecklin spent Sunday at Sacket Lake.

Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Peterman of Curtiss and H. J. Cornelius of Abbotsford made a business trip to Glidden, Tuesday.

Mrs. Henry Bublitz and brother Richard Davidson and the Misses Williams, Viola Schroeder, Lillian Fahrenbach and Juanita Kluve drove to Owen Friday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Grant Herrick and family visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Heimnerdinger.

Henry Plockelman drive to Chippewa Falls, Tuesday.
