GREEN GROVE MISSION FESTIVAL

On July 19th, the third Sunday of this month, the St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Congregation at Green Grove will celebrate its annual mission festival at the customary place, in the grove adjoining the cemetery.

Special mission sermons will be delivered in the forenoon and afternoon in the German and English language.

The morning service, which will be conducted by the Rev. H. Huherman of Wausau, will begin at 10:30.

The afternoon service in English will be conducted by the Rev. T. Schein of Chippewa Falls, beginning at 2:00.

A collection for the benefit of missions will be collected at each service.

The Lutheran Church Band of Merrill, a band composed of Nineteen good musicians will furnish the music for the day. At noon, the ladies of the congregation will serve a most elaborate dinner at a small sum. Refreshments will also be served on the picnic grounds.

Every sister congregation in the immediate vicinity has been extended a hearty invitation to join in the celebration. Also others who are not of the same faith are entirely welcome
