LARGE CROWD HEARS ST. OLAF’S QUARTETTE

A splendid musical program was given by St. Olaf’s Quartette from St. Olaf’s College, Northfield, Minnesota, at the Norwegian Lutheran Church, North of Curtiss.

These young men are members of the world famous St. Olaf’s Choir which has won so much enthusiastic appreciation in the past few years.

The music rendered by the quartette was wonderful to say the least. Such flawless, rich, full voices, beautiful in solo work and magnificent, blended in the quartette harmonies.

It was a rare opportunity for the people of Curtiss and vicinity and we have Rev. Odden to thank securing them for an evening program.

They have been spending their summer vacation traveling through Northern Iowa, the Dakotas, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

They went to Stanley from Curtiss, where they sang at the Lutheran League convention, Friday evening.

It is hope of the people who hear them that they will favor us with another program in the near future.
