CHURCH TO CELEBRATE SUNDAY

On the coming Sunday, August 2nd, the German Lutheran congregation of Curtiss will celebrate its annual Mission Festival in St???fords (unreadable, bad copy) Grove, ½ mile south of Curtiss on TL 16.

Special mission services will be conducted in the German and English language.

The German service will be conducted by the Rev. W. Piehler of Milan, the English service by the Rev. August Sommer of Larium, Michigan.

A collection for the benefit of missions will be lifted in both services.

The members of the local congregation are urgently requested to kindly put their contribution to the envelopes which were distributed in connection with the mission literature.

The band of Curtiss will furnish the music for the day.

A full dinner will be served by the Ladies Aid for a very small sum at 11:30 a.m.

Also refreshments may be had on the picnic grounds.
