Foelske, Iva (18 Mar 1905 – 23 Mar 1966)

Mrs. Eva Foelske, 61, Loyal, died at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Services were held Saturday, March 26 at 2 p.m. at the Loyal Methodist Church. Rev. Paul Doering officiated and burial was made on the Loyal cemetery. Myre Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers were Neil Johnston, Celen Gotter, J. R. Thomas, Clyde Grambach, Jesse Raab and Robert Prior.

Mrs. Paul Doering accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Byron Zepplin, sang “When By Fear My Heart is Daunted” and “Spirit of God Descend Upon My Heart.”

The former Iva Hutchins was born March 18, 1905, at Spencer. After her marriage April 24, 1926, to Otto Foelske, the couple farmed in the town of Beaver until the death of Mr. Foelske July 10, 1954.

She then moved to the city of Loyal where she presided until May, 1965. She then made her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Binning at Unity.

Mrs. Foelske was a member id the Loyal Methodist Church and its W.S.C.S.

Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Ray (Janice) Binning, Unity; Mrs. DuWayne (Vreryl) Jensen, Spencer; Mrs. Marvin (Norma) Teuteberg, Eagle; Mrs. Glen (Eileen) Owens, Union Grove and Mrs. Arthur (Nelda) Franz, Greenwood; her mother, Mrs. Anna Hutchins, Owen; a brother, Delbert Hutchins, Spencer; a sister, Mrs. Ted Schwieso, Loyal; and 19 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
