*Wehrmann, Theodore #2 (30 JAN 1861 - 23 MAY 1939)

Funeral service were held on Friday afternoon for Theodore Wehrman, who died early Tuesday morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Services were conducted at the home at 1:30 and at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church at 2 o’clock, at which the Rev. John Brandt officiated.

Interment followed in the Abbotsford Cemetery. The pallbearers were Anton Kramer, Louis Beilke, Henry Parge, Henry Jacobi, Gust Hintz and Wm. Hintz. The flower girls were the Misses Anita Wehrman, Ruth Wibben, Ellen Jacobi, Adeline and Margaret Kocian.

Theodore Wehrman was born in Sheboygan, Jan. 30, 1861. He was married on July 11, 1886 to Miss Augusta Weideman at Sheboygan Falls. Shortly after their marriage they came to their farm in the Town of Holton about three miles east of Abbotsford, Wis. They cleared the land and lived there since that time.

To Mr. and Mrs. Wehrman were born eight children, seven of whom survive.

Three years ago Mr. and Mrs. Wehrman celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary.

Mr. Wehrman has been in poor health for some time and complication of ailments cause his death on Tuesday, May 23rd, 1939.

He is survived by his widow, three sons: Lawrence and Herbert of Abbotsford, Louis of Watertown, Iowa; four daughters: Mrs. Hilda Rohde of Wauwatosa, Mrs. Freda Tiews and Mrs. Tillie Falk of Waukesha and Miss Amelia Wehrman of Chicago. One son preceded him in death. Two sisters, Mrs. Clara Voss of Kiel and Mrs. Mathilda Dittman of Sheboygan. 12 grandchildren also survive.

All the members of the family were present for the funeral services. Among other relatives and friends who were present were: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dittman, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Dittman and Mrs. Ella Grainwald of Sheboygan; Mrs. Clara Voss and Mrs. Caroline Spitzer of Kiel; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rader; Glen Beulah; Mrs. Oscar Krueger, Philips; Tony Mateofsky and Mr. and Mrs. Felix Bohman of Stratford; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hass, Stetsonville; Mr. and Mrs. John Kobs, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sazama, Mrs. John Sazama, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Otto Leffel, Gus Wucherphennig, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Griers and Herman Weideman of Colby, Wis.
