Chekitis, Ida (16 JAN 1943)

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Chekitis of Greenwood announce the marriage of their daughter, Ida, to Corp. Donald T. Kopp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kopp of Auburn, Ill. The ceremony was performed by Justice Robert Walker on Saturday, Jan. 16, at the home of Mrs. Ruby Koelling in St. Louis, Mo.

Since Corporal Kopp entered service in July, 1941, he has been stationed at Fort Braag, N.C., Camp Blanding, Fla., and Camp Bowie and Barkeley, in Texas. At present he is a member of the 137th Field Artillery at Camp Gruber, Okla.

The bride is a graduate of the Loyal high school. She attended Eau Claire State Teachers college and taught in Clark county for four years. At present Mrs. Kopp is making her home at 1094 West Wood, Decatur, Ill., where she is a government employee at one of the Mueller plants.
