Troy was born Aug. 13, 1976, in Marshfield to Daniel and Julene (Radlinger) Cwikla. Troy attended Dorchester Elementary School then later Colby High School. After high school, Troy worked on various farms in the area then at Liberty Homes in Dorchester as well as other manufacturing companies. On Aug. 5, 2000, Troy married Christine Moidl in Park Falls, and together they had a daughter, Kylie Marie. The family later moved to Eau Claire. In 2005, Troy and Christine were divorced. Troy then moved to Phillips, where he became the owner/operator of Northland Construction Co. and continued in the construction trade up until the time of his death.

Family and his children were the most important thing in his life. Troy always looked forward to deer hunting which also included meeting up with the "Cwikla Hunting Party."

Troy is survived by his children, Kylie Marie Cwikla and a son, Trenton Cwikla; his girlfriend Kerianne Sorvala of Phillips; his parents, Julene and James Mueller of Phillips; and his maternal grandparents, Betty Jane and Jerry Radlinger of Dorchester, Wis. Troy is further survived by his brother, Kirk (fiancee Debby Dassow) Cwikla of Medford; and a sister, Amber Mueller-Johnson of Phillips. Also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends.

Troy was preceded in death by his father, Daniel; and his paternal grandparents, Chester and Mary Cwikla. His construction crew that Troy worked with day after day will remember him and his expert carpentry workmanship but more importantly they will remember Troy's friendship to them.
