Neitzel, Clifford R. (23 Mar. 1924 - 17 Sept. 2008)

CURTISS Clifford R. Neitzel, 84, of the town of Holway was pronounced dead Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, in the Emergency Room of Memorial Health Center in Medford.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in the town of Holway. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Hemer Funeral Home in Medford and from 11:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

He was born March 23, 1924, in the town of Holway to Charles and Caroline (Ried) Neitzel. He married Annabelle Krug on July 25, 1953, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.

After marriage, the couple farmed in the town of Holway for many years until retirement in 1998. While farming, he also worked at Niemuth Implement and Mundt's Garage, both in Stetsonville.

He is survived by his wife, Annabelle Neitzel, town of Holway; daughter, Adele (Steve) Adams, town of Holway; sons, Greg (Debby) Neitzel, Jeff (Patty) Neitzel and Kevin Neitzel, all of the town of Holway; 12 grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren. He is further survived by two brothers, Ernest (Adeline) Neitzel, Owen, and Walter Neitzel, West Plains, Mo.; and sisters, Ann Hamus, Colby and Mildred Hamm, Curtiss.
