Lundahl, Henry (22 AUG 1869 - 9 DEC 1939)

Funeral services for Henry Lundahl who died at his home, Saturday night, were held Wednesday afternoon at one o’clock from the home and at two o’clock at the Evangelical Lutheran Church at Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.). The Rev. J. Brandt officiated at the rites. Interment was made in the church cemetery.

The pallbearers were Fred Woempner, Connie Reynolds, Fed Dallenbach, Ed Leitzeow, Arthur Baehr and Paul Hundt.

Henry Lundahl was born in Germany, Aug. 22, 1869. As a child he came to America with his parents and lived in Milwaukee a few years. Sixty years ago the family came north and steeled on their farm near Dorchester, Wis.

Mr. Lundahl was unmarried, and with his two sisters, the Misses Anna and Elizabeth Lundahl, lived on the home place.

He had been in ill health the past two years and his death was caused by carcinoma and complication, Saturday night, Dec. 9th, 1939.

Surviving relatives included six sisters and a brother: the Misses Anna and Elizabeth Lundahl and George Lundahl of Abbotsford; Mrs. Frank W. Heath of Longmont, Colo.; Miss Mary Lundahl, Chicago; Mrs. Bertha Geiger and Miss Dora Lundahl of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Relatives from away who attended the funeral were Mrs. Bertha Geiger, Miss Dora Lundahl and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gier, all of Milwaukee, and Miss Mary Lundahl of Chicago.
